Recently, the 2026 “CSC Alumni Gathering” event of Henan Polytechnic University officially kicked off. Li Shijiang, the Party Secretary of DFD Group and the Dean of the New Material Industry College of Henan Polytechnic University, was invited to attend the event and delivered a keynote speech titled “New Materials Support New Energy, New Energy Drives New Materials”, sharing DFD’s practical experience in deepening its exploration of the new material industry. More than 200 CSC alumni from Henan, Shanxi, Guangdong, Guangxi, Zhejiang, and other provinces, as well as teachers and students from Henan Polytechnic University, gathered at the event to listen to the report.

Secretary Li mentioned that human civilization is undergoing a transformation from a carbon based civilization to a silicon-based civilization. There are significant differences between the two civilizations in four dimensions: energy acquisition, survival of life, production and manufacturing, and information transmission. The production mode has also shifted from mechanization and automation to digitization, with fully automated production scenarios such as black light factories and black screen factories gradually being implemented. At the same time, the way information is transmitted is iteratively upgraded, and humans shuttle between the physical world, the spiritual world, and the digital world. He proposed that the essence of technological civilization is energy civilization, and the efficient, clean, and intelligent transformation of energy is reshaping the underlying driving force of civilization operation.
Secretary Li emphasized that new materials and new energy are the core driving forces supporting the green upgrading of global industries. He used DFD’s breakthroughs in lithium-ion battery materials, semiconductor grade electronic chemicals, nuclear grade boron isotopes, and other fields as an example to introduce how companies can break international technological monopolies, achieve independent control of key materials, and provide core material support for the development of strategic emerging industries such as new energy vehicles, energy storage, and semiconductors globally through innovative paths such as “fluorine phosphorus cooperation”, “fluorine lithium combination”, “fluorine silicon separation”, and “fluorine boron interaction”. In addition to the energy revolution, enterprises are vigorously promoting the digital revolution, building a smart energy system, constructing the “Five Ones” smart big model, realizing full scene visualization, full process traceability, and full value insight, promoting the integration of the three chains, and creating a digital intelligence integrated platform.

Secretary Li proposed that DFD and Henan University of Technology jointly establish a new materials industry college to explore in depth in the fields of new materials and new energy. Sincerely invite teachers, students, and CSC students to actively participate in industry university research cooperation and work together to overcome key core technologies.
This CSC alumni gathering has built a bridge for communication among alumni, teachers and students, and enterprises, bringing practical experience from the front line of the industry to the campus, allowing teachers and students to intuitively experience the cutting-edge direction of new materials and new energy industries, further deepening the integration of industry and education between Henan University of Technology and Duofuduo, promoting the organic connection of education, talent, industry, and innovation chains, and consolidating the youthful power of science and technology innovation to serve the country.
